Handwoven pastel colours

What has 2 fibres, 2 patterns and multiple pastel colours?

A Vectis Ori handwoven scarf in Noro Kureopatora 100% wool and Tailored Strands 100%  Australian alpaca.

The wisteria coloured warp gives that calming influence to the soft colours in the Noro yarn. And do you see the different patterns on the opposite sides of the scarf?  At my usual nominal size of 1800mm x 200mm and weighing 150g, will it suit your fashion look this winter?

Champagne for Christmans

Christmas is coming, so I got the champagne out.  Well, at least the champagne coloured 100% Australian alpaca yarn from Tailored Strands.  As a mixer I used a selection of Noro Kureopatora 100% wool yarns left over from previous projects.  The taste, or rather the look, are two multi-coloured hand-woven scarves, in two interesting patterns, for two lucky people.  Besides brightening up those cold winter days you will have the lovely feeling of wool and alpaca.  A Christmas delight for you.

Brown with colour

Brown with colour.  How else can I describe my latest to hand-woven scarves?  The wool yarn from the Noro Kureopatora range has a lot of dark colours complemented with some brighter and lighter  colours.  These multicolours are highlighted against the mocha coloured warp from Tailored Strands 100% Australian alpaca yarn.  Two interesting patterns, these soft feeling wool and alpacca scarves will bring some colour and comfort to those cold winter days.

Wool and alpaca yarns woven into two scarves

Two fibres, one wisteria coloured, the other multicoloured, hand-woven in two interesting patterns.  What results are two soft feeling scarves in a multitude of pastel colours in a wool from Noro Kureopatora and an alpaca from Tailored Strands.  Can you identify which fibre is which?  Nominally 1800mm x 200mm these scarves weigh 142g.

Claret and grey handwoven alpaca scarves

Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, what is your favourite red?  Well, I have a claret for you!  No, not a  red wine, but a lovely claret coloured hand-woven alpaca scarf in an interesting pattern.  And if you don't like your claret straight, I have another scarf in a claret and grey mix.

Both look good and have a particularly soft touch due to the pattern and weave.  Of course, the alpaca yarns are 100% Australian from Tailored Strands and the scarves are 1800mm x 200mm and weigh 140g.

Wisteria and lavender alpaca scarves

It is spring, flowers are blossoming and now it is your turn to think!  What two flowering plants do the two colours in these two scarves remind you of?

Handwoven in two colours of 100% Australian alpaca yarn from Tailored Strands you too can enjoy the colours of spring.  Unfortunately you will have to provide the scent.  Two lovely soft, and the pattern allows the softness to be felt, scarves nominally 1800mm x 200mm and weighing 134g.
