Australian native bush colours in handwoven scarves

Where have all the flowers gone?  The Australian countryside is not always ablaze with colour.  Remember the dry greens and browns of our native bush?

Two scarves have been hand-woven illustrating our native bush.  Using a multiple coloured Noro Kureopatora 100% Australian wool together with champagen coloured 100% Australian alpaca from Tailored Strands the colours merge perfectly.  You even have a choice of two patterns in these snug, warm luxurious scarves of 1800mm x 210mm and weighing 150g.

See them soon at Aspects of Kings Park or The Artisan Store Fremantle depending upon stock movement.

Cyclamen alpaca handwoven scarves

The Western Australian wildflower season approaches.  Pink is in the air, or rather in the abundance of flowers that brightens up our countryside.  Why let nature have all the colour?

Two lovely hand-woven cyclamen coloured (or you might call it pink) alpaca scarves in a 100% Australian alpaca yarn from Tailored Strands will let you join mother nature.  In an interesting pattern and with the softness of alpaca what more could you want.  Both are 1820mm x 220mm and weigh 160g.

See them soon at Aspects of Kings Park or The Artisan Store Fremantle, or you might find one at the Leanne White Studio Gallery in Nannup after we attend the Nannup Flower and Garden Festival this weekend.

My wildflower scarves

With all these winter rains we can expect a fabulous show of wildflowers in Western Australia this year.  Remember the vast array of colours if you look closely amongst the ground cover.  So, my wildflower scarf for you.  How many colours can you find?

Handwoven from 100% wool from Noro Kureopatora and a cyclamen coloured 100% alpaca yarn from  Tailored Strands - all Australian fibres.  A choice of two, nominally    1800mm x 190mm and weighing 150g, join in with the colours this year.

See them soon at Aspects of Kings Park or The Artisan Store Fremantle depending upon stock movement.

Emerald green handwoven alpaca scarf

How green is my valley?  The Welsh coal mining valleys are grim but in Australia our valleys are green in the spring rains.

To welcome spring how about an emerald green hand-woven 100% Australian alpaca scarf from Tailored Strands yarn?  An interesting open net pattern and the warmth of alpaca for those nippy spring mornings.  What more do you want?  Are you fussy?   Well it is 1800mm x 215mm and weighs 150g.

See them soon at Aspects of Kings Park or The Artisan Store Fremantle depending upon stock movement.
