Lavender and wisteria coloured alpaca scarves

Same warp, same pattern, why so different?  What a difference the choice of weft has made.

Two hand-woven scarves using 100% Australian alpaca from Tailored Strands.  The warp in both is lavender and wisteria coloured yarns.  In the first, the weft is emerald green.  The colours remind me of Wimbleton, anyone for tennis?  The second repeats allternatively the warp colours in the weft so giving the check-board effect.

Which of these lovely looking, cosy comfortable, warm wearing, accessory appears to you?

Three seasons in a handwoven alpaca scarf

Remember those country vistas in Europe?  The new "young" green of spring, the lush deep green of summer and the bare brown trees in winter?  I bring you these colours in two hand-woven scarves.

Using the lichen, emerald and mocha colours in the Tailored Strands range of 100% Australian alpaca yarns I bring these colours in longitudinal stripes.  One with a lichen (light green) weft and one with an emerald (deep green) weft.  Lovely colours, lovely pattern, lovely alpaca feel and warmth.

Two blues and a purple coloured alpaca scarves

Two blues and a purple.  In strips, one with a wisteria background, one with a royal blue background.  What a difference the background makes.

These two scarves are hand-woven using 100% Australian alpaca from Tailored Strands.  Which appeals to you?  Maybe the light coloured one for the lady and the dark based one for the gent.  Soft, luxurious feel, you cant go wrong.
