Check pattern handwoven alpaca scarves

For a change I have not used a pattern but let the colours do the talking in two hand-woven scarves using 100% Australian alpaca yarns from Tailored Strands.  In the first, four colours, grey, emerald  green, champagne and teal, blend together in a check pattern to make a smart neat scarf for that business man in your life.  And the second with the added colours of lavender, mango, royal blue and mocha would enable you to be similarly warm and comfortable but with that little bit extra.

Interested?  They are nominally 1900mm x 220mm and weigh 135g.  See them soon at Aspects of Kings Park or The Artisan Store Fremantle unless you purchase direct from the weaver.

Noro Kureopatora and champagne alpaca handwoven scarve

The wind is gently blowing and in the distance the colours of the countryside are seen.  Well, I  can  dream as I hand-weave two scarves using Noro Kureopatora 100% wool in their bands of countryside colours against a champagne 100% Australian alpaca yarn from Tailored Strands.  Two interesting patterns, with different appearances on both side, but all depicting the gently blowing wind.  But the wool and alpaca will certainly keep you snug and warm from the real winds during the winter.

Nominally 1830mm x 200mm and weighing 160g, see them soon at Aspects of Kings Park or The Artisan Store Fremantle depending upon stock movements.

More Noro Kureopatora and alpaca handwoven scarves

Not all life is bright and colourful.  Sometimes it is good to relax in the soft subdued, but warm colours.  If that is your mood look no further.   A choice of two hand-woven scarves with a mid-grey coloured 100% Australian alpaca yarn as the warp and a 100% wool multi-coloured yarn from the Noro Kureopatora range as the weft.  The soft coloured bands from the Noro yarns show to varying degrees the woven pattern highlighted by the grey warp.

Each scarf is nominally 1800mm x 200mm and weighs 153g.  See them soon at Aspects of Kings Park or The Artisan Store Fremantle depending upon stock movement.

Noro Kureopatora wool yarn with alpaca

Half sheep, half alpaca??  No not a new hybrid animal but hand-woven scarves using 100% wool yarn from the Noro Kureopatora range and 100% alpaca yarn from Tailored Strands.  The many bright colours in the Noro yarn, giving its renowned striping bands of colours, against the lichen coloured alpaca warp makes a striking combination.  Soft and warm for those chilly winter days, they are sure to please.

A choice of two, nominally, 1840mm x 190mm, weighing 153g.   See them  soon at Aspects of Kings Park or The Artisan Store Fremantle depending upon stock movement.
