Emerald green alpaca scarves

After many multicoloured scarves I have now produced two scarves in a solid emerald green colour.  They are both in the same pattern but one is longer than the other.  Well, slightly, from 1750mm to 1820mm.  Woven in a 100% Australian alpaca yarn from Tailored Strands they are cosy, luxurious feeling and warm.   Do they match your outfit?

See them soon at Aspects of Kings Park or The Artisan Store Fremantle depending upon stock movement.

Spring colours in a handwoven scarf

A new life, young growth, immerse yourself in these gentle spring colours to step out and enjoy yourself.  The multiple mild colours in the Noro Kureopatora 100% Australian wool yarn on a warp of lichen coloured 100% Australian alpaca yarn from Tailored Strands will get you in the mood.  Warm, soft and in an intriguing pattern this scarf will give you that fresh new feeling to face the day.

Black and blue handwoven scarf

Black and blue, is it for you?

A hand-woven scarf using Noro Kureopatora 100% wool yarn as the weft on a 100% Australian alpaca yarn from Tailored Strands as the warp.  The multicoloured, and textured, wool on the sea-change coloured alpaca is highlighted by the interesting pattern.  Warm, colourful and cosy, a great accessory for those cold winter months.  And there is plenty of scarf, it being 1820mm x 210mm and weighing 153g.

Cyclamen coloured handwoven scarves

Roses are red, violets are blue, but for a change I have pink for you.

A choice of two scarves, in different patterns, hand-woven using a cyclamen coloured (or pink) 100% Australian alpaca yarn warp and with the weft from a Noro Kureopatora (100% wool) yarn in multiple colours of pinks and others.  The soft feeling luxurious scarf will enhance your winter fashion besides keeping you warm.

A blue scarf for you

Red, white or blue?  What is the colour for you?

If it is blue with a dash of other colours, I have the scarf for you.  Hand-woven in Noro Kureopatora (100% wool) on a warp of 100% Australian alpaca yarn from Tailored Strands I have two warm feeling scarves in two different patterns.  Each scarf is nominally 1760mm x 200mm and weighing 153g, and they will bring warmth from the texture, from the feel and from the colour.

Not sure?  Come and see them at Aspects of Kings Park or The Artisan Store Fremantle depending upon stock movement.

Oat meal with a difference

Oat-meal with a difference!  Or rather, an oat-meal coloured hand-woven scarf with some added delights.  A bit of green, a bit of pink, some brown, some black.  What else can you find?  Two fascinating scarves hand-woven with Noro Kureopatora multi-coloured 100% wool with champagne coloured alpaca yarn from Tailored Strands.  Interesting colours, interesting patterns, have you got the coat or outfit to match these two soft-feeling warm scarves?

Mohair and alpaca hand woven scarves

Do you like autumn colours?  If so, I have the scarf for you.

Hand-woven in a multi autumn coloured mohair yarn on a mango coloured alpaca warp these scarves have just that!  They are fluffy, due to the mohair, lightweight (80g), and soft feeling.  Perfect for the coming autumn.  And just to let you know they are 1820mm x 210mm.

Moda Vera Gentile handwoven into scarves

Black or white?  What is your choice?

These are your choices of two scarves hand-woven from Moda Vera Gentile yarns, a 92% nylon, 8% lurex blend.  An interesting yarn with two parallel threads connected occassionally along the yarn with coloured patches.  I have adopted a loose weave giving a fish-net feel.  The results are delicate scarves, lightweight, but decorative.  They are nominally 1800mm x 160mm and weigh 30g.

They may appear at Aspects of Kings Park or The Artisan Store Fremantle, but they may be too delicate to put on display at these locations.

Mohair and alpaca handwoven scarves

 Fawn, furry and fluffy.

Well, what else would you expect when you hand weave Filatura Di Crosa Butterfly yarn (50% mohair, 50% acrylic) with a 100% champagne coloured alpaca yarn from Tailored Strands.

Two scarves in two different patterns nominally 1800mm x 215mm and weighing 110g.  They feel very soft and will sure keep you warm, with good looks to go with it.  Do they match the fashions in your wardrobe?
