My 900th handwoven scarf

Would you believe?  I have just hand-woven my 900th scarf!

To make it special it features 4 patterns and 13 colours.  Can you find them all?

Hand-woven using 100% Australian alpaca from Tailored Strands, this is a gem.  And to accompany it the second scarf is in one pattern and 14 colours.  Can you spot the extra colour?  It only occurs once.

My daughter tells me I should kept it and not sell it.  Do you agree?

More of my scarves can be seen at Aspects of Kings Park, The Artisan Store Fremantle and the Studio Gallery in Nannup.  You too can have a Vectis Ori scarf.

Scarlet hand-woven alpaca scarves

For a change I have hand-woven two 1500mm length scarves.  Actually it was because I had limited yarn, so now it has all gone.

So two lovely scarves in scarlet coloured 100% Australian alpaca yarn, in a choice of two patterns.  Being in a 2 ply yarn and 1500mm long they only weigh 105g.  So if you like your scarves short, love red and alpaca, these are for you.

Emerald green alpaca scarves

After many multicoloured scarves I have now produced two scarves in a solid emerald green colour.  They are both in the same pattern but one is longer than the other.  Well, slightly, from 1750mm to 1820mm.  Woven in a 100% Australian alpaca yarn from Tailored Strands they are cosy, luxurious feeling and warm.   Do they match your outfit?
