A red/orange multi coloured sock yarn from Bendigo Woollen Mills (70% superwash merino wool and 30% nylon) has been used as the warp in two scarves. A natural coloured fawn wool yarn has been used as the weft in one scarf whilst a red possum/wool yarn has been used in the second. Despite using the same pattern, two distinct scarves have resulted. What a marked difference occurs when changing the colour of the weft! Two interesting, mainly wool, scarves, which are nominally 1690mm x 220mm and weighing 130g.
See them soon at Aspects of Kings Park or The Artisan Store Fremantle depending upon previous sales.
